
Five members of Millennium Mams had the privilege of visiting the Indian Parliament on 17th April to witness the special parliamentary session held from April 16th–18th, 2026. The session was convened to pass amendments to the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (Women’s Reservation Act), a significant step in strengthening women’s representation in governance.
Listening to leaders from opposing sides present their views, each with conviction, perspective and purpose, was a powerful reminder of what democracy truly looks like from the inside.
